Hardware

Gateways we will put on a pilot line.

The gateway and sensor vendor is not decided. This page describes roles, not a brand. Hardware is quoted with the pilot after the survey, and this page has no price list.

Industrial serial gateway

Modbus RTU and RS485. A certified 4G/LTE gateway with Ethernet, RS232, RS485 and configurable I/O. It polls Modbus RTU devices and forwards readings over HTTPS or MQTT. Dual SIM covers operator failover. Use one at each process area that has serial meters or transmitters. Analog 4–20 mA signals come in through a Modbus RTU input module when the gateway input is a voltage input. The vendor is chosen at the survey.

Industrial site router

Ethernet, Modbus TCP and LTE. A multi-vendor router with Ethernet and dual SIM. Use it at the main switchboard or control room where PLCs, VFDs or meters speak Modbus TCP, or where the factory LAN needs a managed uplink. LoRaWAN sensors can join the same platform later by publishing MQTT.

Sensor categories

CategoryExamples
ClimateTemperature, relative humidity, CO₂
ProcessProcess temperature, pressure, flow, level
MachineVibration, current, run contact, running hours
Energy and utilitieskW and kWh meters, steam pressure, water volume
Quality and massMoisture, weight, count
Safety contactsDoor, leak. Not a worker-tracking product.

What else can connect

Any device that can speak Modbus, MQTT or HTTP can feed the same platform. LoRaWAN is compatible later, by publishing MQTT, and it is not the path we lead with.

  1. Provision the gateway and the sensor records in the factory workspace.
  2. Issue a token per sensor. The token is stored hashed.
  3. Map the gateway’s tags onto those records, then confirm a reading on the floor.
